Till now, android phones have been missing an important feature to adjust ring and notification volume separately. But some sources are saying that a new update might separate them.

As per the 9to5Google report, Android smartphones might receive a separate volume control for calls and notifications. According to the report in December 2022, Google has implemented an ADB command, that is:
adb shell device_config put systemui volume_separate_notification true
After the update, the ring and notification volume slider will split into two different sliders, so users can easily adjust the level of the ring and notification volume separately. It is expected to be announced on May 10, when Google CEO Sundar Pichai might also unveil Android 14.
